An SCA Premier Training Campus is a member company or organization certified by the Specialty Coffee Association as having met all the requirements of the SCA Premier Training Campus program.
This program highlights facilities that offer a unique educational setting for coffee education. Achieving SCA Campus accreditation is a prestigious designation that requires demonstrating compliance with standards for education excellence.Campuses also work closely with Authorized SCA Trainers (ASTs) in terms of class offerings, ensuring the highest quality of instruction for students.
The SCAPremierTrainingCampus.nl is the first SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) Certified Premier Training Campus in the Netherlands, It is brought to you by Keen Coffee and CoffeeXperts – a coffee company located in Enkhuizen with over 17 years of coffee experience.

We believe that in order to make great coffee, you have to know what you’re doing, no matter what stage of the process you are working on. We strive to provide high-quality coffee education to industry professionals. Futher information about the Specialty Coffee Association’s new Coffee Skills Programs (CSP) will be available below.
SCA Introduction to Coffee
Learn about coffee’s journey from its origins in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today. From growing the cherries through grading, roasting, and brewing, this module provides an overview of the coffee value chain.
SCA Green Coffee
Learn about the key concepts surrounding green coffee: production, processing, grading, shipping, storage, arrival at destination, as well as coffee contracts and portfolio management.
SCA Sensory Skills
Learn about the essentials of sensory evaluation in a practical and interactive manner. Sensory Skills investigates the way we perceive what we taste, how to evaluate coffee’s natural characteristics, and implementing this knowledge in business.
Learn about the roasting process, including roast cycle, roast levels, identifying defects, the physical changes that beans undergo during the roasting process, as well as workspace management and lean production.
Learn about the variety of methods for brewing coffee and the brewing variables that affect quality. The Brewing module provides handson learning on grind profiles, brewing methods, measuring coffee strength and charting a coffee’s extraction.
SCA Barista Skills
Learn the practical skills you need behind the espresso bar: learn how to set your grinder, milk techniques and latte art, health and safety, customer service, and basic business practices.
I wanted to, again, thank you for the great training. I learnt a ton of new things and I am glad I did the training with you guys. I felt that after the Roasting Intermediate course, I had been roasting for much longer than only 3 days!
